Hey hey hey!
I hope you guys are doing well and keeping safe and healthy with the Corona Virus outbreak and all.
Welcome back to Meet the Blogger, a platform where we get to chat with all kinds of amazing, creative people. I must say that this is one of my favourite things on my blog. I really love discovering new bloggers and getting fresh perspectives on things.
Today we are chatting to the lovely Paris of The Rebirth of Paris C which is a blog covering a variety of topics, namely food/beverage, lifestyle, travel and fashion/beauty, and occasionally black culture empowerment.
Growing up, Paris played chess, piano and she loved animals and children. She also won many chess trophies.
At the age of 12, Paris discovered modeling and took her first classes at John Robert Powers but later decided to take a break and focus solely on school. At 16, she tried modeling again and attended John Casablancas.
Paris attended college full-time as a double major in Finance and Marketing at Christian Brothers University on a full scholarship where she graduated in May 2015, still finding time to pursue modeling while being a student.
Fast forward to today, Paris is now the proud CEO of The Paris Chanel Agency, her very own modeling and talent agency in the USA. She's quite the go-getter!
Let's get to know her, shall we?
What inspires you to write/blog and where do you get your ideas from?
I think that it is an amazing outlet for self-expression. Sometimes you just want to write everything out. A lot of those times you want to share those thoughts with the world. For me, it is definitely an outlet to share my skills, knowledge, info, and life with others that care to listen/read haha.
Besides blogging, what else do you enjoy doing/what are your hobbies?
My hobbies are spending time with my dogs. I love hanging out with my friends and enjoying a good laugh. Traveling is a huge hobby of mine. I feel so incomplete when it's been a while since I've had a vacay. Aside from blogging, I am the CEO of my own modeling and talent agency.
What makes you unique as a blogger?
I am unique because I feel that I am relatable to sooo many people. I am a geek haha. I love technology. I love food. I love nature. I love beauty and fashion of all classes (affordable, luxury). I am kind of like that best friend that you can go to for all types of info haha.
How long have you been blogging for and what would you say is the biggest blogging lesson you’ve learned?
I have been blogging going on 2 years now. I started with one blog and took a break. Then I felt I had a rebirth of had been born again, which is why I started the ReBirth Of Paris C blog.
Who are some of your favourite bloggers and why?
I genuinely love all of their aesthetics and this is how I want my content to grow to look.
Do you or have you participated in Blogtober, why or why not and what advice would you give someone who is interested in doing Blogtober?
I have not participated in Blogtober, but I will definitely be looking into it for this year.
What is your day job and what is your favourite thing about it?
I am the Ceo of The Paris Chanel Agency. I love making my talent's dreams come true.
Do your friends and family know about your blog and if so, what was their initial reaction to it?
Yes, they do. They weren't really surprised because I've been in the online sector for a very long time.
What do you like most about yourself?
I love how caring I am. Sometimes it can be a gift and a curse, but for the most part, it is fulfilling.
What is the most difficult challenge you've ever had to overcome and how did you overcome it?
I am currently dealing with having to tell myself that I can't do it all by myself. Trusting others with my career and business endeavors is so hard for me. I've been let down before and it is a struggle for me to just be open to trusting someone in that capacity again. So this is a to be continued situation.
Thanks to Paris for joining us and sharing a little about herself here today. It's been a pleasure having you on the blog and I'm glad you decided to partake in the Meet the Blogger Series.
Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors.
