Happy Friday!

Welcome back to Meet the Blogger, a platform where I get to introduce you to some stunning and diverse bloggers from all over the globe.

Before I continue, if you missed the previous interview and would like to catch up before we proceed, click here.

Today I'd like you to give a warm welcome to Harshit. He's a 16-year-old blogger from India with a passion for writing, photography and gaming. Harshit runs a self-titled blog; Harshit's Blog.

Welcome Harshit, it's great to have you here with us today!

What inspires you to write/blog and where do you get your ideas from?

I am a big fan of Gary Vaynerchuk and while listening to one of his podcasts I heard him say ‘Ideas are shit execution is the game’ and that hit me so hard I realized I had to stop complaining that nobody sees my writing skill and put it out in the world for people to see and let the people be the judge. I get my ideas from literally everything I try to talk about things I love the most and certain life lessons. I have a notepad in my shower so I can write down ideas I come across in there.

Besides blogging, what else do you enjoy doing/what are your hobbies?

I like playing Basketball but haven’t got to do that in a while. My number 1 thing that I love to do is play videogames I own a PS4 so yeah that’s also where I get some blogging ideas. I also love reading books I always have a book ready to read with me at all times. I also like meditating which I try to practice for about an hour each day.

What is your day job and what is your favourite thing about it?

I am a high school student which gives me enough time to blog and have a few pass times but I’m going to graduate high school in 2 years so we’ll see where this goes then.

How would you describe yourself?

I’m usually calm and centered but not organized also I try to skip as much homework as I can if doesn’t count toward my total score. I can be fierce in debates. I like to be a rebel and stand against the system.

What are your blogging goals for the year?

Putting out 1 post a week and maybe more. Also, I want to grow my following but I always say numbers don’t matter so that’s not very important to me. My number 1 goal is to provide value to the audience and provide them with good content and not waste their time.

Has blogging made impact on your life and how?

I always used to type rants on how things are so unjust and debate and question everything so I basically did all of this before now I’m just putting it out for the world to see.

Where do you get the images you use on your blog from? Do you take them yourself?

I google them and I have a few other sites. I can’t find the time to click photos these days but when I do I’ll surely put them up.

Which skills do you think are important for every blogger to possess?

A passion for writing or literally anything. They just need to talk about stuff they like that’s what a blog is for. They just need the skill to type and upload the content.

What your favourite or most popular post on your blog (give us a short summary and leave a direct link so we can check it out)?

These 2 are because I loved the concept of Ikigai and think people should learn it and because I put in much work while writing the days gone post.

Lastly, what is the most important thing one must do before publishing a blog post?

Proofread it to make sure there are no errors and advertise it properly and most Important make sure that it provides value to the audience cause that’s the only thing that matters.
